Setting up your channels

The wizard handles this for you, but here's exactly what happens behind the scenes.

Option 1: Get a new TradiesLink number (Recommended)

We provision a dedicated Australian mobile number for you instantly. Use this number on your van, website, and Google Business Profile. Our AI answers 100% of calls and SMS messages sent to this number. Your personal number stays completely private.

Option 2: Keep your existing number

Keep using your current mobile number. You simply set up call forwarding on your phone so that only missed calls divert to the AI. When you miss a call, your carrier forwards it to us via a standard MMI code (e.g. **61*<tradieslink-number>#).

Note: Conditional call forwarding may not work on prepaid SIMs.

In the wizard you type (or tweak) two short blurbs:

  • Voicemail greeting — what callers hear before the beep.
  • Missed-call SMS — what we send them the instant they hang up.

Defaults are pre-filled with your business name. You can rewrite them any time from Settings.

WhatsApp connection
Free test mode during trial, real WhatsApp Business sender on paid plans.

Trial: we show you a shared test number + a join phrase. Send it once from your WhatsApp and you're wired up — no Meta review needed.

Paid: we migrate you to a real WhatsApp Business sender linked to your dedicated number so customers message your own brand, not a shared test line.

Facebook Messenger (paid plans)
Connect your Business Page in one OAuth click.

From the wizard, press Connect with Facebook, approve our app on Meta, and pick which Page you want the AI to answer for. Messages subscribed via webhook land in your unified inbox alongside SMS and WhatsApp.

Still waiting on Meta review? Drop your Page URL in the wizard and we'll wire it up manually within 24 hours.

Billing & Stripe
Monthly AUD subscription, cancel anytime.

Paid upgrades go through Stripe Checkout — secure card capture, automatic monthly renewal in AUD, full VAT-compliant invoicing. You can cancel from Settings and retain access until the end of the billing period.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a credit card to start the 7-day trial?

No. You can sign up, configure your AI receptionist (whether you choose a new number or keep your existing one), and run real leads through the system for 7 days without entering a card. You only pay when you pick a plan at the end of the trial.

What happens when my trial ends?

You keep your number settings and all your conversations, but the AI stops answering new messages until you pick a plan. We show the remaining days as a dashboard banner so you never get surprised.

How does the AI know pricing for my trade?

Gemini generates a starting estimate from the job description and photos, then explains its reasoning in one line (the "rationale") so you can sanity-check it. You can always edit the number and rationale before quoting — and over time we fine-tune suggestions from your approved quotes.

Will this interfere with my phone plan or SIM?

No. You keep your existing carrier and SIM. If you choose a new TradiesLink number, it operates completely in the cloud. If you use your own number, you simply forward your missed calls to us using a standard carrier keypad code.

Can I answer calls myself before the AI picks up?

Yes. If you are forwarding missed calls from your own number, your phone rings normally first and only goes to the AI if you don't answer. If using a new TradiesLink number, you can set simultaneous ring (whisper mode) so your handset rings alongside the AI.

Does it book jobs into my calendar?

Yes. Connect Google Calendar or Outlook and the AI will propose free slots to the customer, confirm a booking, and drop it straight onto your calendar without double-booking.

Which WhatsApp setup do I get on trial vs paid?

Trial uses a shared test number — free and instant, so you can prove out the AI before paying. Paid plans migrate you to a real WhatsApp Business sender (available if you selected a new TradiesLink number).

Which plan do I need for Facebook Messenger?

Messenger is included on Pro and Team. On trial or Starter, Messenger is locked — but you can still manage Messenger-style leads manually from the Leads tab.

Can I add more team members later?

Yes. Team plan includes up to 5 users with a shared inbox and call routing. You can upgrade from Settings at any time with one click.

Can I cancel?

Anytime, from Settings. You keep access until the end of the current month and we never charge you again after that. Your CRM history remains available for export.

Where is my data hosted?

Australia. Our servers and databases are hosted in Sydney (australia-southeast1), and your business number is a compliant Australian mobile number issued against our regulatory bundle.

How do I reach a human?

Email [email protected] for anything the wizard can't resolve. Team-plan customers get priority SLA.
